Route 603 (Cove Road)

Bridge Rehabilitation Project
Find out about the proposed plan to repair the Route 603 (Cove
Road) bridge in Wythe County, located over Interstate 81 and
.35-mile from Peppers Ferry Road. During the repairs, the bridge
will be closed to traffic and a detour will be in place for
approximately six weeks.

If your concerns cannot be satisfied, VDOT is willing to hold a
public hearing. You may request that a public hearing be held by
sending a written request to Mr. Dan Cannon, Project Manager,
Virginia Department of Transportation, 870 Bonham Road,
Bristol, Virginia 24201, on or prior to January 27, 2021. If a
request for a public hearing is received, notice of date, time and
place of the hearing will be posted.
