Library Notebook: Kid Librarian program kicking off
A Kid Librarian program is starting this month at the Wythe County Public Library. Do you love books? Want to help other kids find their next great read? Apply to become a Kid Librarian! Each week, a young reader will have the chance to: Create a special book display in the Children’s Department; Research and select favorite books to recommend; Share why others should read them, and Showcase creativity and love of reading. As a bonus, participants who have read at least one of the books featured in their display will receive a prize! This fun weekly program encourages reading, research, creativity, and library engagement while giving young book lovers a chance to share their favorite stories with the community. Applications are available at the Wythe County library. Call (276) 228-4951 for more information.

Designed to support early literacy development, these stations provide a fun and educational way for children to reinforce classroom learning and develop a strong foundation for lifelong reading success.
