MeMorial Day Memorial Day is a special day to observe both nationally and personally. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated in 1982. In its’ first 15 years, it’s been said that 54,000 items had been left at this great wall. They say that it takes nearly an hour each night, and longer on Memorial Day, to pick up mementos at the wall…( a picture of a fallen soldier’s grandchild, a letter from a child who didn’t have the chance of knowing their father, or perhaps even a teddy bear). Each item is to be labeled and left at a warehouse. We all face loss. each of us cope with it in different ways. Everyone has their struggles and their pain. Do you have a place to leave your sorrows? Have you found a place to leave your pain? Have you found healing for your wounds? Why not lay your sorrows, pain and cares at the feet of Jesus Christ. He loves you and has bourne your griefs and carried your sorrows! (Isaiah 53:4) Peter said, “Casting ALL your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) Why not give Him your all today?
