Regarding her new role, Bowman said, “I am excited to bring my years of customer service experience, strong work ethic, ability to work well with others and a positive attitude to Farm Credit.” She continued, “I look forward to gaining new skills, learning more about how loans are processed and working directly with the agriculture industry.”
Coulson currently calls Woodlawn home, after moving to Virginia from Alaska two years ago. She and her family started a small farm which currently raises Kiko goats, miniature Jersey cows, a small herd of angus cattle, ducks and chickens. They plan to expand their herd slowly over the coming years. Coulson’s sons also participate in the local farmers market, selling a variety of items handmade on their farm, as well as duck and chicken eggs. The family is part of the National Kiko Registry and the New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club.
Coulson brings experience in banking, human resources, management and customer service to her new role with FCV. Regarding her new role, Coulson said, “I am excited to learn all that I can about Farm Credit’s loan processes and help our members recognize their dreams.”
She continued, “I am thrilled with the opportunity to be a part of the Farm Credit team and look forward to what the future holds for me and my career here!”
Of Bowman, Brian Repass, Wytheville branch manager, said, “We are pleased to have Katie join our team here in Wytheville. Katie’s extensive background in the insurance industry will help her to as she starts her career here at Farm Credit. She has already taken off with the tasks associated with her new role. We look forward to her future with Farm Credit.”
