Repass releases three new books
Marion writer Sally Campbell Repass has released three new books.
Among those is Hooves & Hearts, a sequel to the recently launched Cabin Secrets.
According to the book synopsis, Bella Caldwell, an author and schoolteacher, met and married private investigator Kane Mason.
The description says, “Her parents, Frank and Eve Caldwell, farm owners in Emerald Cove, Vermont, were very happy with her choice of a husband. Kane Mason checked all their boxes. Just as Bella and Kane’s son, Will, was about to celebrate his 1st birthday, they found out they are having another baby. Seven months later, baby Jenny, joined their family. Join the Caldwell, Mason, and Carter families as they do this journey called life. Their lives are filled with joy, heartache, and learning to lean on God.”
The second book is Separated at Birth.
Its central character is Corina Rose, who was only 18 years old when she found out she was going to have a baby.
“She was terrified about telling her wealthy parents. They had big plans for her, and she felt so guilty for letting them down. After many tears of disappointment, they sent her out of state to have the baby so their affluent neighbors and friends wouldn’t know about it. The baby would be put up for adoption. No one must know.”
The book synopsis continues, “Much to Corina’s surprise, she had twin boys. She got to hold them before they were taken away. With tears running down her face, she kissed them and promised them that she would see them again one day. Both babies were adopted – by different families. Years went by. Tragedy happened, which affected one of the boys when he was five years old. Join the adoptive families on their journey of faith, hope, love, and tragedy. Would Corina’s dream of finding her boys ever come true, or would they be gone forever?”
The third story, Together Forever, features Eli and Sallie Morgan, who lived on a ranch in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
“Eli’s parents, Tate and Nancy Morgan, were the backbone of the community and built a log cabin church many years ago. Eli and Sallie had four boys, and then they lost the baby girl that Sallie had longed for. Eli almost lost his wife when this tragedy happened. Will God hear her prayer for another baby girl?”
The book description continues, “Tom and Lucy Davis bought the farm next door to the Morgans. They quickly became friends. But Lucy had a secret that was almost more than she could carry alone. She chose to tell Sallie, who was very understanding about it. She swore her new friend Sallie to secrecy. Would the secret ever come out or would Lucy carry it to her grave? Join the Morgan and Davis families as their lives intertwine. Only God can bring relief to the burdens they carry.”
Together Forever features a special touch with a photo of Repass and her husband, Walter Robinson, serving as cover art.
A two-time award-winning writer, Repass writes from the perspective of a Christian, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
