Restoration Church will host a free “Family Finance Workshop” on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to noon at 1099 W. Washington Street in Wytheville.
The event is designed to help individuals and families better understand practical financial principles through sessions tailored for adults, teens, and children. Topics will include personal finance, budgeting, savings, retirement planning, financial literacy and what Scripture teaches about money and stewardship.
Church leaders say the workshop is intended to provide practical help in a time when many families are struggling with financial uncertainty and rising costs.
“We want to help people build strong financial habits and answer real-world questions about money in a practical and Biblical way,” said Restoration Church pastor Jeremy Farley. “This is for everyday people who simply want to learn, ask questions, and improve their financial future.”
In addition to the special sessions for teens and children, adults to the event will enjoy a session specifically speaking about Bible principles for finance, followed by talks about savings, retirement, day to day living, and a question and answer time.
The workshop is completely free and open to the public. Community members from all backgrounds are invited to attend.
No registration for the event is necessary, attendees simply need to show up on Saturday for the 10 a.m. event.
