If you have loved ones buried in a church cemetery it would be nice if you could give a donation for the mowing cost.
I hope this is not a bad omen for winter but I have already seen two fully black wooly worms and I know that is a prediction for a bad winter but I pray it doesn't happen. When you have neighbors that share items from their garden with you, just because they want to, makes me a very blessed person and even makes the items taste better. Thank God for good neighbors.
Prayer concerns are: for the safety of all students, teachers and staff as school starts, the flood and fire victims, Raeanne Harr, Jerry Lowe, Lynn Bass, Bo Testerman, Darrell Rosenbaum, Lucy Grubb, Harry and Kay Fleming, Sarah Rudolph, Kendra Dunkley, Glenda Lowe, Threasa Jenkins, Linda and Jerry Porter, Jimmy Dunkley, Rodney Pack, Danny Jonas, Daphne Rosebaum, Kenny Sayers, Sandra Wright, Gus Kincer, Mary Jo McKenzie, Clyde King, Sr., Libby King, Rabbit Catron, Phyllis Stamper, Jim Bear, Kathy Testerman, Sandra Reasor, thank the good Lord for the rain-the grass is growing about faster than we can mow but it won't be long and Fall will be here and the mowing season will be over, it's good to see water in the branches and New River is up enough you don't see the dry land at the Fries crossing, for the safety of all churches and schools, for the safety of all Police Officers, EMT Personnel and Fire Fighters, our Military Personnel, for all the sick and shut-ins, those in the hospital and nursing homes and especially for the unsaved.
Until next time: When school starts all through the town, the parents are cheering, it was a riotous sound. By eight the kids were washed and tucked into bed when memories of homework filled them with dread. New pencils, new folders, new notebooks, new teachers and new friends, their anxiety grew. The parents just giggled when they learned of this fright and shouted upstairs, "Go to Bed, It's a School Night." Hope you have a wonderful week and God bless each of you.
