Residents of East Buffalo along Jefferson Avenue and its surrounding neighborhoods began digging out and cleaning up after a blizzard tore through Buffalo and Western New York on Dec. 23 and 24. Buffalo News photographer Joseph Cooke and reporter Maki Becker walked the neighborhood to talk to residents and take photos of the blizzard's aftermath.
