Clifton Ray Rogers Clifton Ray "Pete" Rogers, 71, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away Friday, August 2, 2013, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn. He was born in Washington County, Va., on May 16, 1942, a son of the late George and Eula Price Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Rogers. Clifton is survived by his sons, Lynn Rogers and wife, Diona, and Darrin Rogers and wife, Sandie; step daughter, Sherry Phillippi and husband, Mike; four brothers; six sisters; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, Va. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Scott Price officiating.
