Opal Louise Heath CHILHOWIE, Va. Opal Louise Heath, 76, "A Mother to All", peacefully slipped away from the loving arms of her family to be with her Lord on Friday, November 8, 2013. She was born on August 30, 1937, to the late Monroe and Roxie Thomas Widner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lee Heath Sr.; two brothers, Paul and Jack Widner; sister, Mildred Widner; a sister-in-law, Janie Widner; a brother-in- law, Jack Ward. She is survived by one son, Samuel Lee Heath Jr. and wife, Jeannette, Chilhowie, Va.; her grandchildren, Jordan Frye and wife, Micah, of Meadowview, Va., Emily Tolbert and husband, Dusty, of Adwolfe, Va.; her great-grandchildren, Nathan Blevins, Taylor Frye and Jyllian Tolbert; her brothers, Joe Widner and wife, Shirley, of Glade Spring, Va., Earl Widner of Glade Spring, Va., Bill Widner of Glade Spring, Va., Allen "Mickey" Widner and wife, Kim, Chilhowie, Va.; her sisters, Mable Widner of Galax, Va., Ruby Fields and husband, Don, of Chilhowie, Va., Betty Ward of Asheville, N.C., Shirley Widner of Glade Spring, Va.,May Debord and husband, Joe, of Chilhowie, Va., Faye Hoback and husband, Dickie, Chilhowie, Va., several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Howard Martin of Chilhowie, Va. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013, from the Little Rock Baptist Church, where she enjoyed her membership, with Pastor Buster Mullins and Elder Daniel Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at the Rush Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013, from the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie.
