SUGAR GROVE, Va. Renee LeAnn Ramey, age 33, died Monday, October 19, 2015, at her home. Renee was a very loving wife to her husband, Travis. She was a wonderful mother to her children. She enjoyed working with her flowers and playing with her dog, Zeus. She was a constant student and appreciated education. Renee was studying Early Childhood Development and Veterinary Assistant courses in her spare time. Children and animals held a special place in her heart. Renee will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Linden and Racheal Elaine Walters Ramey. Renee is survived by her husband, Travis Ray Greer; daughters, Allyson McKenna Greer, and Cameron Rhea Greer, all of Sugar Grove, Va.; sister, Rhonda Dove and husband, Chip of Culpepper, Va.; brothers, Rodney Ramey and wife, Paige of Madison County, Va., and Randy Ramey of Romney, W.Va.; second mother, Brenda Lacy of Madison County, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend David Neitch officiating. Burial followed in Thomas Cemetery.
