Jimmy D. Gross MARION, Va. Jimmy D. Gross, age 65, of Marion, Va. went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 1, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1950, to the late William Gross and Molly Cox. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Lena Gross; brothers, Cecil Gross, Albert Gross, Charles Gross, Carl Gross, Eddie Gross, Wilson Gross, and Donald Gross. Jimmy was employed with Virginia House Furniture for 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joannie M. Gross; his son, Paul Hall and wife, Kelli of Wise, Va.; daughter, Judy Gross and husband, Garland of Marion; brother, William Gross and wife, Sue of Atkins; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, to include one special great granddaughter, Haley Wain; and two special friends, Joyce Wagg of Mouth of Wilson and Phyllis Daughtery of Seven Mile Ford. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Paul Shallenburg officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
