FBI Director Kash Patel has revealed that the Justice Department will soon make arrests related to the 2020 elections, which US President Donald Trump claims were “rigged” against him. During an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo,” Patel said the agency is collaborating with DOJ prosecutors led by Attorney General Todd Blanche. Trump has long claimed that his 2020 loss to former President Joe Biden was stolen through voter fraud. However, courts and election authorities have investigated and dismissed these claims. Patel claims that his agency has evidence supporting Trump’s claims, saying that the president “speaks truthfully.” “They [Democrats] tried to thwart our elections and rig the entire system. And ... that is not something I'm going to allow on my watch,” Patel told Bartiromo. His remarks came days after the DOJ’s civil rights division demanded a Michigan elections official surrender county records from the 2024 election to the Trump administration. In recent months, the DOJ has sued over two dozen states, demanding access to their unredacted voter rolls, which have received pushback from election officials across party lines. The department also sought records related to the 2020 election from two counties in Arizona and Georgia involved in debunked conspiracy theories about widespread voter fraud
