Michael Jordan captured his first Daytona 500 win as owner of 23XI Racing when driver Tyler Reddick crossed the line in first place at Daytona International Speedway. The win is 23XI Racing’s ninth win in the NASCAR Cup Series since the team’s debut in 2021. “I can't even believe it. It was so gratifying. You never know how these races are going to end. You just try to survive. We hung in there all day. Great strategy by the team, and we gave ourselves a chance at the end. Look, I'm ecstatic," said Jordan. Reddick didn’t lead the race until the final lap, when Toyota teammate Riley Herbst collided with leader Chase Elliott, causing the latter to crash. Reddick was able to hang on for the win, snapping a 38-race winless streak and clinching his ninth NASCAR Cup Series win and first since 2024. The 30-year-old finished ahead of former race winners Chevrolet’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ford’s Joey Logano in second and third as Elliot was forced to settle for fourth. 23XI Racing co-owner and Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin, who was looking to become just the third four-time winner of the Daytona 500, finished in 31st place.
