Week 12 Thursday Night Football prop bets: Steelers vs. Browns player props for Russell Wilson
Wilson only completed 60.3 percent of his passes thus far, but has averaged at least 7.0 yards per attempt in three of four games and 9.1+ in half of them. He also cleared this line in all four outings.Â
The Steelers like to set up their play-action passing game with the run, but they will pass the ball. Cleveland’s defense also ranks 26th in yards allowed per attempt (7.2).
Like Wilson, Winston easily cleared this line in all (three) of his starts this season, going for 334, 235, and 395 yards. The Steelers allow the third-lowest completion percentage to opposing QBs, but Winston is throwing 44.3 passes per game, which is more than enough to get him over this mark.
The Steelers are the better team and will likely have the lead, which means the Browns should have to throw the ball to keep up. Winston is a risk-taker and will push the ball down the field for better or for worse.
There’s no doubt that Pickens is Wilson’s favorite target. He beat this line in three of four games with him under center and just had 12 targets and eight receptions for 89 yards last week.
The Steelers want to hit Pickens on deep shots whenever they can, but they’ll also get him involved in the short game if they need to get him touches. Wilson has a strong rapport with him and should look his way against a fierce defense.
McLaurin is Daniels’ favorite target and ranks third in the NFL in receiving yards and joint-fourth in receiving touchdowns with six. Notably, he caught the game-winning TD against the Bengals the last time the Commanders were in primetime.
The Eagles have a great pass defense, but McLaurin leads the league in WR completion percentage over expected. He should get looks in the red zone and has the hands to convert those opportunities.
