The final weekend of March Madness has arrived, and four teams — UConn, Alabama, NC State and Purdue — are left to battle it out in the Final Four for a spot in the national championship game.

2024 Final Four prop bets: UConn vs. Alabama props

UConn is clearly the best team left in the tournament, but that doesn’t make them a guarantee to win. Crazier things have happened (like NC State reaching the Final Four), and Alabama’s elite efficiency and breakneck tempo make them tough to gameplan for.

While the line is steep, looking at the over on UConn’s team total of 86.5 (-118) could be worth the investment. The Huskies lead the nation in KenPom’s adjusted offensive efficiency rankings and averaged 81.3 points in four tournament games despite shooting below 30% from 3-point land. Bama’s tempo should also coax them into scoring even more than they usually do.

An Alabama first-half spread of +6.5 (-104) is another interesting play. UConn was ahead by an average of 7 points in their last two games and tend to finish games better than they start them.

2024 Final Four props: NC State vs. Purdue props

NC State’s miracle journey to the Final Four came largely on the broad shoulders of DJ Burns Jr., but for the first time, he’s about to be dwarfed by the monstrous 7-foot-4, 300-pound frame of Zach Edey, who just scored 40 points in the Elite Eight.

There’s a distinct possibility this game starts very slowly as both teams adjust to the bruising big men on each side and get into foul trouble. They also scored a combined 57 first-half points in their last games, which is why the first-half under of 68.5 points (-106) is enticing.

An interesting parlay leg for this game is the second half to be the highest-scoring half (-270). Tournament games usually end with scoring flurries as teams pick up the tempo and also commit more fouls, leading to more free throws. The sheer size of Burns and Edey also makes them reliable late-game scorers, whereas jump-shooting teams can be at the mercy of their own fatigue.
