The first thing I want to do is thank the good Lord for keeping our power on, we didn't have any frozen water or pipes and we stayed warm during all that winter weather. Nothing of that would have been possible without the good Lord. I hate winter so bad and then the fear of all that could happen just makes it worse, I just have to keep praying. I don't if any of you have lady bugs but I have enough to share and these warmer days has brought them out in numbers. I just don't see how they get in but they sure do. These warmer days has been Heaven sent but I know it is still winter and we can still get bad weather. There are people in Louisiana that hasn't had power for days and days due to an ice storm they had and that is always a fear that I have in winter. I know we have ice storms before but I pray we don't ever get anymore. They are so damaging.
I saw a robin on Monday and my mom said she had several at her house on Wednesday, so maybe that is a good sign the harsh weather is over with and I sure hope so.
Prayer concerns are: Jerry Miller, Jerry Lowe, Tammy Payne, Adair King, Rodney Pack, Threasa Jenkins, Glenda Lowe, Daphne Rosenbaum, Mickey Hedrick, Kenny Sayers, Donna Jonas, Wanda Hall, Danny Jonas, Harry and Kay Fleming, Robbie Williams, David Maxey, Bobby Musser, Kathy Testerman, Jim Bear, Phyllis Stamper, Sandra Wright, Jerry and Linda Porter, Gus Kincer, Bo Testerman, Randy Mitchell, Walker Jenkins, Clyde King, Sr., Libby King, Rabbit Catron, Martha Norris, Shirley Caudill, Arlene Gilbert, Sandra Reasor, Raymond Matney, Phyllis Eversole, for all the sick and shut ins, for a milder winter and the power to stay on and no pipes or water to freeze, for the safety of all churches and schools, for all those that have to work in the harsh weather like the farmers, VDOT, power companies, all first responders, all law enforcement and all others, for all those who has lost a loved one, and especially for the unsaved.
Deepest sympathy is sent to the family of James "Blaine" Krunich.
Until next time: Valentine's Day used to be about candlelight and quiet dinners. Now it's about little hands shoving crayon hearts in my face and yelling, "I made this for you, Mommy." And loving a partner in the middle of the chaos. Choosing each other in passing moments; kitchen hugs, tired smiles across the couch, a love that looks different but runs deeper than ever.
