Library Notebook: New parking lot, roof greets patrons
The Wythe County Public Library has a newly-paved parking lot as of this week, and a new roof as of a few weeks ago, thanks to the county Board of Supervisors. And as we go into November, your county libraries have programs for all ages for you to enjoy.
Today, the last day of October, the Wythe County Public Library in Wytheville offers role-playing Dungeons & Dragons gaming at 10 a.m. and the Adult Coloring Club at noon. And then we go into next month!
An on-line program for all our libraries is the Online Cookbook Club, the theme for November being National Roasting Month and National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month, as well as Thanksgiving inspiration. Each month, our libraries feature themed cookbooks available for checkout. Participants are invited to select a recipe, prepare it at home, and take photos of their completed dish. Share your photos by email at wythegraysonlibrary@gmail.com to join the conversation and inspire others. Photos shared to the email will also be shared on our social media pages. Please state in the email that you want your photos shared.
