Virginia Tech football coverage leading up to Georgia Tech game
“As a D-line, we talk about it, that was not our best game. We expect more from us. We put out a bad showing,” defensive tackle Elhadj Fall said of the unit’s performance at Cal.
“It’s no egos in my room. Don’t get that twisted, they’re all very confident and they will reassure you that they can get the job down," wide receivers coach Fontel Mines said. "I think that’s the special part.”
The Hokies are piling up penalties and penalty yards at a rate Franklin isn’t accustomed to experiencing. They enter this week’s slate of games ranked 105th in penalties per game and 111th in penalty yards per game.

“We just got to execute. We got to pour into what we're doing, trust our training, and do our 1/11th. If that's every guy's mindset going out in the field and lining up, we'll be in a tremendous spot,” Ayden Greene said.
