Opponents of a proposed Google data center in Botetourt County addressed the Western Virginia Water Authority’s board room during a meeting on Jan. 15 in downtown Roanoke.

Google purchased more 300 acres at the Botetourt Center at Greenfield to potentially build a data center complex. A section of the purchased land is seen looking northwest from International Parkway and U.S. 220 in August.
